Back in the 50’s and early 60’s park guests were able to fish along the docks of Tom Sawyer Island, into the Rivers of America. This stopped after park guests would often just toss their fish into the park trash cans leaving them to rot and stink up the park, especially on hot days since guests found it uncomfortable to carry fish around throughout their day.
